# About Arq OS

Arq OS gives businesses persistent AI teammates: bots that work in a browser on their own computer, remember the work around a job, run routines on a schedule, and ask for approval before anything leaves the building. It is built for practical, day-to-day operations rather than one-off chat.

Useful agents should be understandable and controllable by the people who rely on them. Arq OS keeps routines readable, records every action in an audit log, and lets you decide what a bot may do on its own and what it must ask about. The same bots and routines work across the web, desktop, and mobile apps.
